Beretta changes mind in Va after Dem elected.

Recommended Posts

Yep, Beretta has taken Virginia off the list of potential states in which to move their Maryland operations. It's amazing how liberals would rather face criminals empty handed and be victims. Even to the extent od turning down a firearms factory and have jobs come Into the state.

Well, Remington is coming to TN. That's a good thing. They'll be building their AR rifles here, to start.

That's good news. Do you have a link to the announcement?

No, I don't. Sam Hoster's been going up there for some time now, working with them on their 1911's. I bumped into him the other day in Wal-Mart. We were chatting, and I asked him how everything was going. He said great, and I mentioned I heard a rumor. He confirmed it for me. Said they've bought the property, but he didn't know where it was. Guess we'll find out soon!

I can understand why Beretta wouldn't want to locate in VA now.  VA is quickly becoming the next Maryland and yet another State that is completely dominated by a big liberal suburban center (Northern VA), regardless of what the rest of the State thinks.  We are seeing in more and more, as once traditional Red States are turning purple due to a large liberal suburban center.  Colorado is another, with Denver now dominating State politics as is Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Beretta would be far better off to move to one of the Southern states, like Tennessee, Alabama or Texas as would all the firearms manufacturers.
