Anybody here try it yet? I see some good prices and reviews. Is there any available locally? I'd like to try some before ordering a case or three.

It's been a while, but I've shot it. Cycled fine in the Spikes Tactical AR I had at the time. Seemed like decent quality brass cased ammo to me. I never really did any super detailed accuracy testing though. Probably at least good for range plinking. I ordered mine online. I don't recall seeing it on the shelf anywhere locally.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat at the right price. I'm sure it will be just fine.

Heck, the steel stuff shoots pretty good in my guns. I'd pay extra to get reloadable brass.

I havent had any problems w foreign ammo, it can shoot dirty, and be oddly packed, but when the primer is struck it does what it should do.Locally try outpost armory, shooters, or jump online found this which is about 375.00 per thousand, thats almost as low as pre shooting at school prices, i was paying 400 for 1000 rounds of 855 lake city PLUS tax....its either this, high dollar stuff, or fighting for 22lr and using a conversion kit.........also check ammo wiki for up to minute prices on ammo.

Well shoot some of it and give us a report! :D

Might be a couple of weeks but I can tell you that the GECO .223 (Swiss made) that PSA sells of $17.99/50 rounds is very nice stuff.  Broke in my TGO build with 50 rounds of that and was shooting sub-moa at about 110 yards without really trying all too hard.  BTW, that was with a brand-new 18" 1/8 twist .223 Wylde AR-Stoner barrel (Midway house brand)

I hope it's good.  Just bought a bunch from AIM.  It's pretty with sealed primers and bullets.

I've read around that it's good stuff.  BTW, the latest Wolf Gold is NOT PPU.  It's made in Taiwan.

Huh...wonder when that happened(can't see on my phone from YouTube vid). I got some mid panic that still had PPU headstamp and a purplish colored sealant.

I just read some reviews on the Taiwanese Wolf. Looks like it should be good stuff. I wonder if Monarch brass .233 will be from PPU or Taiwan from now on??
