My AR

Bought this AR about a month before Sandy Hook from Dick's...it's the Troy AR they were selling before Dick's announced they would not sell ARs anymore. I swapped out the buttstock to a Magpul CTR and put a makeshift hand stop on the rail using Magpul parts. Magpul BUS . The grip I got from scoutfsu along with a Surefire scout light in a trade today. I broke my rail section since I have ape hands and over torqued the screw and broke the polymer so it is not included in the photo. The optic is an Aimpoint PRO. I only have a few hundred rounds through the gun but have had no cycling issues. Looking forward to taking it through some training to see how it performs... uhu9ejeh.jpgma3a6yma.jpguzy9ygub.jpg

Ha, it's amazing the stuff you can forget out there.  Really though, if you need it, hit me up and we'll meet (MSSA beckons...) or I'll mail it in an envelope.

I fought buying one of those Troy's when they came out.  How do you like it?  Why'd you get rid of the stock?  I thought the stock was ugly but when I shouldered it, it felt comfortable.

I still have the stock...I didn't mind the ugly that much, but I had the CTR I kept from another AR I sold to fund the Troy and like it a little better so I just swapped it out...I like the gun overall and am ready to start putting some more rounds down range with it...
