Heck, it's even windy here in east TN. Tough weather is a scary thing... stay safe, ever'one.

The siren near my home about two miles south of Elm Hill Marina has gone off three times now.  Davidson County is under a tornado warning until 9:45pm.

Lots of red for Nashville now:

Been without power for 45 mins so far. Took the family into the basement for this one. It was pretty fierce here.

Pretty good squall line.  I guess it will be here in my area 2-3 hours from now.

Pulled a big limb out of the roof/room of a house in Jackson tonight. Got to the house where we are staying and a huge oak had let go and clobbered the fence. Stay safe, everyone!

Whew....  It came thru here like a high ballin' freight train.  It had us hunkered down in the hall for awhile, and seems to have dropped a tornado a couple of miles away, but no reports of injuries so far, so it could have been worse.

No trees down this time for me. That's a great relief.

But seems to have been a lot of power outages in the Briley Pkwy/Opryland areas. At least that's what Ch5 reports.

Lights flickered a couple times here in Gallatin last night and I had all back up lights in place just in case. Got some pretty bad winds for about 30 minutes and rain was blower from west to east but front was a fast mover and from the time the wind arrived until all clear came in Gallatin was about 40 minutes total. After that is was just rain. Went out and checked the roof and trees and no damage......................

What a great concert in the early 80's!!    I saw REO again a couple years ago at Oshkosh and they STILL ROCK!

I'm glad the storm wasn't too bad for us in TN.  Not so good for our friends in Arkansas.
