Anyone know of a reasonable gunsmith in the maryville area? I have an sks that is shooting left even with the sight moved as far as it will go. I do not know if the barrel can be turned a little to move it down or up. I can handle lower high but kentucky windage is rough at 100 or more yards. Is this possible to do?

Before paying someone to fix your rifle.  Let a buddy shoot it, if it still shoots to the left, then you may have problem.  If it doesn't its you.

Very good idea. I was having an issue with a pistol while at the range yesterday. I was positive it was shooting to the left. I asked my friend to shoot it. The problem was me.  :squint:

So you have the front sight pushed all the way to the right, and it still shoots left.

A front sight all the way to the right means you have made it shoot as far left as possible when sights are aligned.

A front sight would be moved to the left to change impact to the right when sights are aligned.

Rear sight is the opposite, change in direction you want impact to change.

Front is all the way left! I haven't looked to see if I could twist the whole sight slightly left as well. Isn't it pinned to the barrel? Or is it pressed in place?
