Need scope mount info for CZ 452 please.

I need to plug into the vast knowledge of TGO yet again. I have just bought a 452 military trainer with huge steel sights. If you own or have seen one, you know what I mean. I want to mount a Mueller 4x16x50 on it but I'm wondering if I'll be able to find any rings tall enough for the scope to clear. Also, I'd like to get see through rings to be able to shoot open sights if I want to without removing the scope. Has anyone here got this setup on a CZ 452 trainer?

I've got standard Burris Medium rings on my 452, and the bolt handle just clears the bell on my 40mm scope eyepiece.

Unsure, but I feel like the "see through" rings would set the scope really high. Not bad, but I love the classic look of the shortest rings I could fit on mine.

I even used a vintage Redfield scope, just so I could have a glossy blue finish on the scope that is so hard to find these days...

The trainer will have an 11mm dovetail. I think see through sites will make it hard, if not impossible to get a cheekweld. Go here to get all info you could want on combos for the 452. www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=336921 Edited by Hozzie
