National Registry Test for EMT-B

Recommended Posts

I know you paid attention. read a good bit, and took notes.

Just chose the first thing that come into your head

after you read the question, do not change the answer if you go back and

look over what you put down the first time.

The correct answer in in your head, trust your self!

im taking the nremt tomorrow at 10am. anybody got any pointers, suggestions, or advise. maybe say a prayer for me?

I'm a retired FF/EMT. Read the questions very carefully. Also, my test last year had a lot of patient assessments type qiestions on it. Maybe be something to stay on top of. Good luck to you.

Study reparatory rates and child birth type questions. By now I'm sure the test has changed. Again...GOOD LUCK!!

When do you take your "practicals"?

All the above is good advice.  Some of the Registry questions are -- shall we say -- poorly phrased (I started to say "moronic").

Read all the options, then pick the "best" one -- and as noted by Red, don't second-guess your answers.

You got this -- but we'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers as an extra measure of assurance.

im actually studying to be an emt in Kentucky but the closest testing site is Morristown tn. is practicals the same as "skills"? if so I took those last Saturday. just before testing started I had a major nosebleed and had to be taken to the ER. after about an hour of bleeding the dr. stuffed 2 "tampons" up both nostrils and sent be back to test. any and all thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated.
