We have been building lots of custom rimfire rifles to shoot suppressors off of, and I thought I would built a blingtastic Hero-Gear version for myself.

IMG_0866.jpg

IMG_0869.jpg

IMG_0870.jpg

Specs and Costs:

Tactical Innovations receiver (thats right, this is NOT a Ruger) $234.00

Tactical Innovations TI25 magazine $69.00

Raptor Stock in Atomic Red $169.00

E.R. Shaw Stainless Barrel, threaded 1/2x28tpi for suppressor $200.00

Leupold VXII 3-9x40 scope $369.00

Kidd two stage match trigger $289.00

Ruger Bolt and charging handle (free) Soon to be replaced by a Volquartsen $200.00

Not Pictured: Yankee Hill Machine Stainless Steel Mite Suppressor $250.00

As you can see, you can build a very expensive and unique rimfire rifle.

If you are interested in a project like this, we would be happy to help you put one together, or you can refer to some of the resources below for parts and info and do it yourself.

Joe keeps handing me that rifle when I walk in the store... I keep "pretending" I don't want it...

The tactical 22 they built looks pretty nice, too. I'm pretending I don't want that one, either.:tinfoil:

Another 10/22 build:

This build uses the very cool Nordic Components AR22 chassis that allows you to drop a standard Ruger 10/22 receiver in, and then bolt on standard AR15 furniture.

Good lookin' nordic. Reminds me that I need to talk to you about 9mm and 22lr suppressors next time I am down in your neck of the woods.

Somewhere in my future is a custom 10/22. I know I posted a picture of it in another thread, but here it is again.

I really have no idea of what parts were used, but I love it. I really need to worry about buying my daughter a .22 before I worry about one for myself. I really want to get her into shooting.

Ours looks like that, just slightly nicer (IMHO) mods/specs. I will post pictures once it gets back in the shop.

^^Yeah, there's all so ugly you must have screwed them up. They're now junk that should be thrown away. I'll be happy to start collecting your trash for free during the period these will be thrown out for said reasons in.....

Nice guns, I still have to get down there Joe, I know I won't leave without something though ,so I keep putting it off lol.

The field gun has the suppressor installed in the pictures.

If I have time today, I will install the cans and take pics of the others.

Thanks, I could really see myself owning that .17 version, would come in real handy out here on the farm.
