Wwwhhaaaaa??!?!?! Craziness. My wife drives that every day to work and back. This is going to soundd bad/selfish but I hope that this was a targeted action for something he was involved in, and not just a random road shooting. I lost a high school friend to one of those on I-95 in Miami just a few weeks after graduation.

Prayers for family and friends of his left behind. No idea what kind of stuff a person may be into, but now there are folks left without him. :-(

I hope it wasn't road rage. If it was, that means someone driving around out there is willing to shoot someone over it. Being parked on the side of the road is kinda weird though.

I remember not long after I got here, in the early 2000s, there was a report of several rifle shots hitting cars on I-24. I'm not sure exactly where that was. That was moving vehicles affected though and this sounds like it was more likely just parked?

On that matter, it was only a couple of years later that there was the DC snipers. If I recall correctly, they had something going on in Atlanta and I wondered if they might have been testing the waters. No one else seemed to make any connection though so
