  1. 1. For you all that are "out of state", what brings you to be a part of the Tennessee Gun Owners community?

    • I joined TGO when I lived in Tennessee, and have since moved away.

For all of you non-TN-resident TGO members...  what brought you attracted you to TGO?

I seemed to see an up-tic of out-of-state members recently and am curious.  Whatever the reason, I'm glad you all are here, and hopefully this community is a positive force in your life.

I voted google search. I live here now but didn't when I first joined up. I was in town around January 2 years ago and did exactly that, googled "Nashville gun shows" and "Nashville shooting ranges".

One of those brought up TGO and I've been here since. I didn't actually join for awhile, just spent awhile reading and getting to know the place.

I know Dawgdoc an I both live just across the Ga border... He works in Tn an I am in Tn all the time. For both Tn gun laws effect us a lot. We are both member of 2 Ga forms... I also joined a Alabama forum but its deserted..

We have non-TN resident members on here. Some plan to move in the near future some may just want to know what makes TN so special. I think anyone who loves firearms, owns and loves to talk about them should be allowed to join. As long as you follow the rules, there shouldn't be a problem.

I found the place through someone on Glocktalk whining about how folks here weren't nice.

I was never that fond of Glocktalk, but I liked to browse, so I came here and looked around since it was a Tennessee based forum.

A couple of years ago I moved to Kentucky, but Tennessee is where my heart belonged for a rather long time.

Plus the folks here are just good folks. This is my second favorite forum, and my favorite gun based forum.
