while i would like to have the DD lite rail, i think the MI will work for me for now. this is the list i have together, is there anything else i will need or anything else anybody would change?

All looks good. With the barrel threaded 5/8-24 you'll have to get an appropriate compensator most will be labeled 762 with that thread pattern.

I want this handguard, but with fill-length rails down each side. This is where my OCD kicks in; I find something that's almost perfect, but not quite.

 

I've got the YHM Todd Jarrett hand guard on the 6.8. Smooth and easy on the hands, but you still have rails for stuff if you need it. Gomer looks like you have been shopping hard all day. Glad your getting it narrowed down, bet it'll look good and shoot even better. Only 16 barrels left in stock.
