Sewer containtment "dome".... if an incandecent lightbulb bursting can blow it to kingdom come... I'm guessing that should be a gun-free zone.  I mean, you can draw and fire... you just might not be around to see who won the fight... not to meantion, who in the world is going to follow you down there to do anything!

 

I will admit ignorance of security threats, but I cannot imagine an instance where a standard firearm would be a good idea on the space station... unless you have level III protection from the inside out.  That place is not like an airplane... a hole would be a much, much more serious issue... - equalibrium and the laws of physics and such..

I would like to thank everyone for participating in this as it has been informative in many levels but I think most everyone can agree on one thing. GUN FREE ZONES should be labeled as MASS KILLING ZONES and not GUN FREE ZONES. I can only hope that sometime someone in Government with enough authority is going to step up to the plate and remove all gun free zones and realize that it will help put an end to the slaughter houses because the future shooters will know when they enter that they will be entering an area that will strongly limit their possibility of success in their plans..............jmho

I didn't say anything about "secured" facilities particularly.  I could say the White House but it has more guns in it than DC Police Department but one would never think so just going through it on a tour.

I'm still wonderin' if it's possible to dodge the ricochets in a bathyscaph. Doubt you could shoot a hole through the Trieste and their ain't much room for runnin' away from an errant shot but if ya could make a hole in it. Well....it would be worse the space station thing, I bet. Wonder what a super collider could do with some steel shot?
