Also keep in mind that the Examiner is not a reliable source of information.  Anyone can sign up and write for them and there is no fact cecking.  So, take anything you read tere with a grain of salt.

To be fair, the Wall Street Journal is the original source, I think, for the article.

Even if the FBI, who compiled the data, was the one who used and interpreted the data, it still doesn't say anything anyone could use

until they break down the data into usable information like socioeconomic conditions that cause it.

But, for the sake of argument, since some think the FBI can do no wrong, sure, don't use their data to fight the anti-gunners. One day

soon, you might find an administration that would corrupt it. That may be the case right now. with the current Attorney General, and his

track record, I wouldn't doubt one bit that could happen.

Life is not all peaches and cream with the feds just as it is anywhere else, but some people will believe anything.

A lot like Craigslist, but they kept their red light section. Or so I am told...

I have lived in Chicago while growing up and moved away at age 17. I have lived in Tennessee ever since. The crime rate in Chicago by itself is worse than the entire state of Tennessee even with Memphis. Heck the Populaton of Tennessee is just barely above the population of Cook County Chicago to begin with. I would never consider living in Chicago ever again. I think for the most part they are just trying to draw attention away from the real major crime areas beginning with Washington DC, New York and Chicago and how come Los Angeles was not included in that list. There are more gangs in LA that all of Chicago and New York combined. Is California that special they don't fit into the equation?...................jmho

The problem here is just words.  CRIME RATE?  Crimes per night, chicago is worse.  Per person, TN is.  Thats all there is to say about it.

Well that was a fun side trip. Browsing history deleted. Hot, red headed hooker logged into bank.

Clarksville appears to be a fair amount cheaper than Memphis. That being said, prices have definitely gone down.

There's no gang crime in Clarksville. Just ask the mayor.

Yep, same thing the Garrison Commander told us MP's in 1980 on Fort Campbell too. But, Campbell had their own gang too! Where there's people, there's gangs. Period, especially in Clarksville!

The Mayorette is too busy trying to figure out the next state race to enter. She knows where her office is in Clarksville. Not much else.

Well, the sluggish economy has impacted many industries and there is probably significant price competition. ;)

It does exist. One of my coworkers brags about using it frequently.
