Hopefully no fire ants were harmed in the making of the video otherwise PETA is going to be upset.  I'm sure this was a dormant colony  :)

I had those exact same thoughts, I'm sure out there in this great wide world there is someone plotting revenge in the name of all those "extinguished" souls, to that I say...

Wow! Makes me feel like I'm livin' in a wooden bread box compared to that. 10 tons. Wow!

Doubtful.  Dirt doesn't smoke like that, and that was a pretty nice steam burp.

I learned about them ~1967 passing through Dothan, AL with my dad. Stopped somewhere - envision 7 year old kid - "hmmmm - what's that???"   <STOMP!!!>  "OH S##T!!!!!"

Houston for me. Turned into a big fight. Me, and a whole bunch of them. I'm still not sure who won.

Lets just be honest, it wasn't you as when it comes to those turds, nobody wins, ever.

That's cool and all, but I wouldn't dig a hole that big for my ex. Esp not for a bunch of ants lol...

What about five minute hippy art that they could sell on American Pickers?

That's pretty cool. Kills em and makes art too!

Truly two birds with one stone... well, more like 50,000 ants with one pot but you get the idea.

I was born near Charleston.  I learned about them pretty early in life.  Then I learned about them again a little later.  Then again sometime after that.  Then we moved.

I'll have to admit, that was pretty cool. Wish I had time to do cool stuff...
