Lamar's Chief of Staff Accused of Child Porn

Recommended Posts

As awful as it seems be aware of the fact that the left has planted child porn on notable conservative's computers in the past. If I remember correctly it was a conservative newspaper editor.

If it is true I say string him up by his feet or put him in general population so the inmates can deal a bit of justice.

I know they have, but he still needs to be beat in the primary. This is just a little ammunition.

We should never be suprized when the "political class" does bad (...even heinous...) things... We should be suprized when they are actually punished for it... Havin said all that; we have the "presumption of innocence" thing until proven otherwise....

We have enough informational ammo to fire Lamar based on Lamar's own record.  He's a feckless & undependable politician; throw the bum out.

Of course innocent until proven guilty, and there HAVE been politically motivated setups using planted porn.

OTOH, unless A LOT of folks have conspired to set the fella up, at the moment it looks like this powerful Capitol City "mover and shaker" is one sick prevert, and a veritable computer genius as well (not).

no matter what one thinks of lamar,  this has no bearing on him.   Anyone can know someone professionally and find out later the person who seemed normal was not.  Could most of you who work around 10+ others say without a doubt that all of your co-workers have never bought drugs or looked a illegal porn or whatever else?  Its not even a judge of lamar's character to be associated with the guy: there is no way he could have known unless they watched the stuff together.   And unless the guy was over the top wild (in which case, he would never have been hired for this position)  there was probably no way to know.   Even when people seem "odd" or "off" a little, -- well everyone is a little odd, are they not?

I can think of hundreds of reasons to vote against lamar.  This is not one of them.

Exactly right, but any information that can blacken his campaign I will gladly use. He has lied as much as any politician in
DC. The opposition will stoop to much greater lows than this, but that just makes me wantto start using the same rules as

they. Lamar has planned strategic votes to make himself look good, while allowing bad legislation, Supreme Court Justices

and the treachery to continue. He's the same as the opposition as far as I'm concerned.

Not necessarily. Perception means everything
in politics. We have had good candidates in the
Republican Party lose elections solely based on
lies that created enough bad perceptions. One
well written propaganda piece can and has

destroyed candidates and it has happened for
a long time. Truth is merely a perception in politics.

It is the one honorable occupation where
the truth is relative and it is up to the normal
everyday citizen to wade through crap to decide
if truth is anywhere near.

The opposition uses propaganda multitudes of
times daily, on their own and their enemies. Don't
go thinking I wish I'll of Lamar. I just want him to
go away. Retirement would be good. The tree of
liberty is rotting in the core with people like him
weewee'ing on it all the time.

The only thing wrong with the likes of McConnell
and Alexander getting replaced in the primary is
it moves up John Cornyn to the post if they go by

seniority.

Ah, too much to think about.

This.  There was a guy I used to know socially.  Not close friends, but I liked him and we hung out.  After a couple of years we started spending more time with different groups of people and I hadn't seen him in years.  Then one day I'm driving down the interstate and I see his face on a billboard for the TBI's most wanted.  "Holy crap, that's Wes!"  And the stuff he had done ... ye gods.
