I need a new knife.

My spiderco crapped out on me last year. Perfect blade but the clip and plastic handles were shot. The clip fell off and the handles won't stay tight.
SO, I took to carrying a small Gerber Bear Grylls folder. Well...Gerber ain't what they used to be.

The wife has agreed to buy me a new pocket knife. So, what to buy? What's the best choices at or around $100?
I REALLY liked the size and blade of Spyderco EnduraII. I don't want another Spyderco though.
Belt clip is a MUST. I carry inside my pocket but cannot tolerate a pocket knife rattling around loose. Edited by Caster

Have you given thought to a small fixed blade? Ive taken to carrying one constantly all the time, and find it works much better and takes abuse better than any folder

Tapatalk ate my spelling.

I personally prefer SOG, I carry a SOG Fielder everyday sharpen every 6 months. It's never let me down. I also have a few other SOG knives and have yet to have a complaint

Yes I have, but the ones I have are too large and most sheaths I have experience with dont lend themselves to being comfortably carried. Prove me wrong, I'd love to carry a fixed blade. Something 2 or 3 inches or so in blade length.

If you want, I'll take that spyderco off your hands and try to fix it up. If I get it working I'll return it to ya.

Like I said, pm your address and I'll get one made up and on its way. You prefer wood handles or paracord wrapped?

I love the 200. It would be almost impossible to kill it too. But, it's a pocket full of knife.

EDIT: 100 bucks is a great deal! I paid $160 for mine

ZT0350 is my default choice at the $100-ish price point. Way too good a knife to not own. If you wanna try one out I'll send you mine for a couple of weeks.

Yeah, ZT's aren't known for being petite.

The 3D machining makes that one kinda big. It's great in the hand. It's just not flat like the 350. It's closer to a 300

You still like those dinky knives like the 350 after you got that rhino slayer? :)

I've carried my SOG trident on 3 deployments now and it's so far held up amazing. I use it for everything, from opening the mail to cutting stuff in the woods camping. Highly recommend their trident.

I carry the XM-18 most days but I still love my 0350. The Busses are special occasion or SHTF blades :)

One thing that should probably be mentioned about the 350. The blade deploys with some authority. Could cause a wet spot to form on the front of a liberal's pants.
