Can I carry this?

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. College is killing me. Anyway, I was at the gun show in Chattanooga last weekend and I started talking to a North Caralina police officer that was selling tasers. I was telling him how it makes me mad how the government restricts HCP holders so much on where they can carry. I was talking about how I wish there was something I could carry in college. He said it was perfectly fine to carry a stungun/taser in college. Does anyone know if this is true. I would love to carry my stungun, but I don't want to get screwed either. Are there any police officers or others that know about this. Thanks in advance. I hope everyone is doing well.

There are no state restrictions on tasers for carry. There are certain places that you couldn't carry one, but unless your college specifically forbids it in their rulles, I am not aware of any state law that says you can't.

They aren't consider a deadly device and are generally lumped in with pepper spray as far as civilian carry goes. Some states have different laws, but TN doesn't have any restrictions that I know of.

P.S Would it be bad to mention your avatar does not promote safe gun handling at all? A firearm should never be anywhere that close to that region. It's just...WRONG.
