I love stuff like this. That's just amazing. And knowing someone posted the plans for free to help others out is even better. That guys got some amazing karma coming his way.

I think that is amazing to say the least and a wonderful tool that can help many people. I just hope and pray that the medical industry that makes artificial limbs see it as a threat and try to figure out a way to stop them or make them illegal to provide for people that need them and don't have 25 grand to buy one from a doctor..................jmho

2,000 dollar printer, 5 dollars in material vs a 20,000 dollar artificial hand.

 

Now, that there is becoming more and more uses for these printers watch them try to regulate them more and more.

By the title of the thread I was going to say, "Pissing off the ATF of course." but this is an outstanding usage of such technology as well, so much so that I do hope that it catches on for the sake of other people out there whom can't afford prosthetics!
