Boy gets suspended for using "imaginary bow and arrow"...

Things are getting totally out of control in our school systems and of course the local news medias will remain out of it because they support it and don't want to come under fire so they just keep quiet and let the UK report it. Kids cannot be kids anymore unless they have their faces glued to a video games filled with violence and then wonder why kids act out and punish them for stupid things. God help it if someone actually saw kids playing cowboys and indians this day in time. They would probably be jailed..............jmho

Things like this paints a dark picture for our future. Personal thought, being a kid, all that is out. This country is screwed.

Also in today's school discipline outrage department....

The people running the schools of this country have completely lost their minds.

And I bet if the young man had kissed another boy on the cheek there would be at least a half dozen groups to defend him.

Hell, the ACLU and the GLAD groupies would fall all over themselves for an opportunity like that billyscott. The kid's family would be waist deep in lawyers begging to defend him.

We've lost the public schools and I see no hope of ever regaining control...that's why we get idiocy like that shown in this story..

If you have school-age children today then the only way to ensure that they aren't indoctrinated into the progressive, everything is relative, America is bad mindset is to either home-school them or send then to a private school that does it right.

I have a good friend whose son was suspended from school for making finger gun gestures at one of his buddies. They are in 4th grade.

What use to be cute, little boy kissing a little girl on the cheek, is now sexual harassment.  :shake: Do these idiot adults really think these kids have a clue as to why they are really being punished?

As far as the boy and the bow, his parents should say they are Native Americans and he was simply displaying his culture. File a law suite for a couple of million and watch the bastards squirm.  :pleased:

This has been happening for longer than we'd like to admit. I was assigned detention for three days when I was in sixth grade for drawing an M16A2, this was about a month after Columbine mind you but Hell, I was a kid whom loved guns, I didn't know nor care about things unrelated to me like world events.
