Im not new to glocks by any means but I am just young enough that I am new to a gen2. I just acquired a 1994 gen2 glock 17. I got it what I think is very reasonable with brand new TFO's. From my experience Id say round count is under 200 or so as there Is no glock smile on barrel or any wear line on the top of the chamber. After looking at internals and taking slide apart, its very clean with no wear.

My question is this. Are the early gen 2 glocks good? Reliable? Should I replace any parts from age standpoint not wear? Do they function as well as gen 3's? I can do without finger grooves and a light rail as it has hogue grips anyways. Its in great shape cosmetically. Should I worry about carrying it? Is it early enough that they didn't have the bugs worked out of it?
