I remember .25 gas. Heck I remember paying .21 a gallon when I first started driving. Then when I was at TTU, gas went to .65 a gallon and we all paniced.

You remember 79 cent gas

I remember paying .79 cents for gas in 1996. A pack of camels were .79 cents at the time too.

 

That is 17 years ago. You could be as young as 21 or 22 an remember that.

I remember gas wars in the 60's. You could buy gas during these gas wars for 16 to 20 cents a gallon. Normal prices were less than 25 cents a gallon.
