fair warning im a n00b and this is my first rifle.

So i was cleaning ye' ole' 91/30 and i was trying to get in to all of those lil' grooves and channels in the bolt. and some how i got the bolt head to come off. i figured out the rubic's cube, i got the bolt head back on. but now the bolt don't feel as secure when you close it. its almost floppy, sorta. with the bolt closed forward and aft the bolt is tight and secure like it should be. but when you lift up on the bold handle to open, it seemes to open kinda easy.

so what did i do and how do i fix it?

THANKS!

It's a Mosin. You can't break it. Take it all apart and put it back together again, half a dozen times, until you are sure it is right. You can do it! Also, search YouTube for some videos on mosin disassembly.

If your that worried, strap her to a tree and pull the trigger with a string. If she doesnt blow its all good. :)

Headspace 101 for a Nagant.

Broke it? You may very well have "fixed" it. Those things are notorious for having chambers and bolt parts with multiple layers of tempered cosmoline that make things hard to move.

Have fun, and buy some light ball. :D

It's a Mosin, you threw it off when you cleaned it.

Bury it in the back yard for a few days it'll be fine.

Like the above post said, you might of fixed it, if anything take it apart again and double check things.
