why would I need a butt stock ammo pouch?   Should SHTF or TEOTWAWKI happen, relying on a Mosin Nagant would find myself seriously undergunned.  

 

But should one only have a Mosin Nagant for an event like this wouldn't just looping the original ammo pouch onto the sling be sufficient for grab and go?

CQB... close quarters battle, I could only imagine dragging a Mosin through a hallway or through doorways.... no thanks I'd rather use it under a door knob or as a tripping hazard lol !

Don't forget about the obrez! Most tactical of the mosins. Concealable too!

i don't about anyone else but I would bet my life on my mosin, it may be old but it's a proven to be a very effective weapon time and time again in the right hands IMO
