West Nashville shows some sign of daylight now - so we might get a bit of warming unless stronger cloud cover moves in.

so far light rain and a little wind - has given way to breezy and cool.

Anyone seeing ice?

Steady rain in Memphis...temps right around freezing but no notable problems with the roads yet...

It's below freezing and into the negatives all day, every day here. Probably have a foot a snow on the ground too. Why not? Freezin is the reason.

Ice in the trees, but roads are just wet in Clarksville. 32 degrees. Last one of these ice storms I had to replace my service entrance.

Last Ice storm we had was the year you sold us our house, and I had to replace my electric riser on the roof because the lines pulled it down!

This morning I drove from Kingsport to Oak Ridge. From here to the I-81/I-40 split it rained like pouring pi$$ out of a bucket. From there on to Oak Ridge and back it was just light rain.

Just went out and filled all the bird feeders and squirrel feeders for second time today. It's raining and the rain is very cold. The way the critters are feeding up I think they are telling me it's gonna get bad. When Ice forms on the trees it;s hard for the squirrels get around. I filled all three squirrel feeders after dark last night and they had them empty by about 1PM.............I think the next one coming tomorrow night is going to be worse than this one but hope I am wrong.......I live in Gallatin in Sumner county.

Looks like our luck was on a parallel path, wasn't it? I was lucky to get it done that night, but it was a huge pain. The CDE truck

was bigger than my driveway. I made him back that beast out, too. I may be out there with some #6 shot blasting away at the tree

limbs, this time. :D

The low/long branches on my maples are starting to droop pretty good. Glad the leaves are off the trees. I lost a tree sized branch over Thanksgiving break during those storms.

I have monster trees. It's difficult to figure out which ones will break. Feeling any better, Dan?

Here just south of Murfreesboro it's 36 and raining. Same as it has been for 24 hours.

And now thunder!

Power has been out since my last post, back on now and it's cold as heck in here. The transformer blew. Fixed now!
