This is a speech by David Horowitz that people should read and reflect on. I occasionally hear him as a guest on some

radio talk show and I would love to meet him because he is so eloquent when he talks to any crowd. Some may not like

him, or may have never heard of him, but he can explain liberal politics better than anyone I know of and can take you

down the road of liberalism, progressivism, socialism and communism and demonstrate what those terms mean. I guess

it's because he was raised by two card carrying communists and was active in the 60's progressive movement, even had

a lot to do with the Black Panthers until he really got to understand what they stood for.

 

Anyway, he is a resource for those who think they know the topic, and those who don't have a clue. I hope you enjoy some

more light reading. :D

Yes, he should be required reading/listening.

 

His tale of conversion is both inspiring and terrifying. To see that there is such a concentration of the communist viewpoint in the upper strata of this nation is quite incredible.

And that sobering commentary was just one speech. Look at his website. Lots of great information on there, and he has some great

folks reporting news good and bad.

 

I'm getting that book, "The Black Book of the American Left". It ought to offset that pile of poop I got by Noam Chomsky. :D If you wish

to explode thy head read some Noam Chomsky. Guaranteed to do it, if you can figure out what he says.

There's nothing new under the sun. There has been and always will be evil people who's goal is power, money, suppression of religion and the suppression / enslavement and control of the population. Every country on the globe throughout history has experienced this fact. Antarctica excluded of course, but that's a continent :ugh: 

 

Our 237 year experiment in democracy and a Constitutional Republic is no exception and will not stand the test of time. On it's surface to the layman, communism and socialism might seem very fair and reasonable, think welfare, Obummer Care, social security and all our freebies. It's man's human nature not to want to physically work and many turn to politics / government jobs. But in every case, business and capitol looks for a more favorable environment, people have no motivation to work hard and get ahead, the economy and infrastructure crumbles and the people eventually revolt. Comrade, they pretend to pay us and we pretend to work. Starting to look familiar somewhere maybe?

 

You don't need to be a scholar or have a masters degree in philosophy / political science to understand human nature, the history of the world, and the path the elites are shoving down our throats, with the sheep asking for more, more, more.

Dennis, the reason I posted this is for some who might not understand what the particular ideology stands for, and to get a better understanding

of it.

 

I have no degrees in either one of those disclipines you mention, so I agree with you about that. As far as standing the test of time, I don't know

about your statement on a constitutional republic not standing that test, though. As long as this one has been in existence, it has been fought

against by the ideology I mentioned with the link provided, and it is still standing, which says quite a lot. Human nature is a broad subject and is

more confused than any other part of the equation. That's why a good comparison of the disclipines need to be understood, so something

like that constitutional can stand the test of time. It's certainly the most viable of the group, unless one wants to be ruled over by others, which

is what happens when people are trained to be lazy.

 

We're close to finding out, though, aren't we?

Yea 6.8AR we are close.

 

By no means was I disparaging you or the link. I get a little carried away on the subject of fascism, socialism and communism with my "ism" phobias. I guess my point is...

 

Through far from perfect on equal rights for all, our founders were educated wise men who experienced tyranny first hand and bequeathed U.S. with a elegant summary of their grievances to the king and gave U.S. our unalienable rights granted by God, not the state. That being said, one would have to dismiss God to revert to communism normally. The government and atheistic / communistic organizations have almost removed all vestiges of God in our schools, money, Christmas displays, sporting events, etc.  

 

What the government gives, the government can take back. I'm not much on conspiracy theories but, I believe there's a concentrated conspiracy effort underway for a nanny state, to make U.S. all equal, equally poor except for the rulers and elite. The evidence is overwhelming and undeniable IMO.

 

In this modern age, the Constitution is no longer the law of the land or is turned upside down by SCOTUS with scholarly one world thinking. Look at all the laws passed, treaties signed, executive orders (law) issued by the Federal Government that is clearly un-constitutional.

 

See, I got myself all worked up again :rant:
