There's a new gunshop opening in Fairview. It's called "The Green Dragon".
Peeking through the window I see shelves full of goodies including reloading stuff.

It's literally less than a 2 minute walk away. If I cut through the neighbors yard, I could probably do it in a minute flat.

Sign says opening soon. Needless to say, I'll be down there trying to sell them on signing up to be a vendor here.
Exciting!

I bet they're already a member here and just knew that opening a shop next door to you would guarantee success!

Yup, I need to turn them on to David too for reloading components. I see tooling through the window but no components.
Lucky for them, I know the best source for powder, primers & bullets the eastern coast has to offer. Our very own David Mosley.

Some people seem to get all the luck.

A brand new best friend, an eye candy / gun porn store, a second home, a dinner time conversation piece, a second postal address, another reference for employment applications, a new place for community volunteers, a new fairy tale / war story environment...

You just hit the lottery, I'm envious!

Turn up Cox Pike next to Food Saver grocery. It's right behind the grocery store where the barber shop used to be. It's in the building Pisgah stained glass used to be in.

Well, due to a really  :poop:  :poop:  :poop:  economy and lack of support from the local crowd, Dennis is closing his doors.  Didn't even make it a year.  He is a very nice guy but I guess people don't care about the person they buy from or the service they get if they can get it cheaper at the big box stores.  It's the amerikan way I suppose.

Thought ya'll should know.   :sadwave:

Sorry to hear he is closing and I have been through Fairview many times back years ago and it always struck me as a town that never wanted to grow. I would drive through it and see a new business open and 3 months later drive through and see an empty building.................jmho

Wow that sucks he had cheap transfers!  Not surprised though, drove by there all the time and rarely seen a single vehicle outside.  He didn't do much advertising though, We lived nearby and didn't even realize a shop was there until May of this year.

Well crap.  I just found him the other day.  Seemed like a really nice guy and had good prices.

A business can't survive on transfers, contrary to what some people think (and I'm not including you specifically on this).

edit, when I posted I didn't notice the date.  I didn't notice it was closing.  Yup, bummer.

That is a bummer, really nice folks every time I've been there.  I've heard rumors that Wally World in Fairview isn't making it either, just a rumor I heard.  Sad about Green Dragon.
