They are just an importer, no? I know their Witness pistols are made by Tangfolio. Not sure about their revolvers.

Yup they are importers. The bring in some nice stuff. The Tangfolio's are nice and they bring in the Saiga's.

http://www.eaacorp.com/ manufacturers of brand name pistols, rifles and shotguns.

Yep, I was pointing out that the Saigas are imported by RAA, not EAA.

EAA did indeed import Saigas until about 3 years ago or thereabouts. Somehow they lost the deal and RAA sprang up and began importing them.

EAA also imports part of the Tanfoglio line of handguns, the Witness series. Tanfoglio has made parts or assemblies for a lot of the CZ75 clones on the market in the last 20 years. They are well know and respected in competition circles in Europe. have a look at the Tanfoglio website.

As for EAA themselves, they are far below the quality of the products they sell. Do a search and you will see post after post about their terrible customer service record.

The fact that you see so many Witness pistols out there is testiment to their value and shootability not anything EAA did.

I have a couple of EAA marked Saigas.

EAA used to handle the Windicator line of revolvers made in Germany. They functioned fine and were nice shooters. Just no frills, perhaps on the same level as Charter or Rossi.

I have two Witnesses, and I like them both very well. Nice guns.

Oh, didn't know EAA imported Saigas at one time. Interesting.
