Lefty Media still uses Zimmerman as a lever vs RTKBA

"When George Zimmerman was arrested for domestic battery in mid-November, the shotgun he allegedly pointed at his live-in girlfriend was not the only weapon he had on him.

A police search warrant that has been released to the public revealed that Trayvon Martin’s killer was in possession of five guns and more than 100 rounds of ammunition at the time of his arrest. According to the warrant, Samantha Scheibe told officers that Zimmerman had pointed his 12-gauge shotgun at her when she said she was going to call police during an argument the pair were having, asking her if “she really wanted to do that.” Scheibe said that Zimmerman locked her out of the house they shared while she called 911, barricading himself inside.

Police eventually entered the home and arrested Zimmerman without incident.

During a search of the house, the shotgun was found in a soft-sided case that had been locked with a combination lock. Also inside the case were an AR-15 assault rifle, a Glock 19 handgun, a Taurus 9mm pistol and an Interarms .380-caliber handgun.

The Taurus 9mm is similar to the Kel-Tec pistol Zimmerman, then a self-professed neighborhood watch captain, used to kill Martin in February 2012. The Justice Department kept that gun from being returned to Zimmerman after his acquittal last July, pending the outcome of its civil-rights investigation into the shooting. The Glock is a favorite among law-enforcement officers.

Zimmerman told police that he and Scheibe were separating and that he was planning to move to Texas, according to the police reports. He was stopped for speeding in the Lone Star State just a month after he was acquitted of murder in Martin’s death, warning officers then that he had a handgun in his glove box. As a condition of his $9,000 bond for his domestic-battery arrest, Zimmerman must remain in the state of Florida until the case is resolved.

When Zimmerman’s ex-wife, Shellie Zimmerman, called police in September, she told dispatchers that he had threatened her with a gun. Officers in that case, however, did not recover any firearms at all. Shellie Zimmerman also told police that her husband (they were separating at the time) had smashed her iPad with a pocket knife, which was among the confiscated items police detail in this latest warrant."

The Rodney King story ... finally trumped by George Zimmerman.  He'll be the race-merchant's poster boy until they come up with something better.

Somewhere there is a village without their idiot.

Not in this country. Unfortunately we have enough for every village to have several.

Not only that, but worse.  use to be, the VI "just was", and there by default was only one (and maybe a backup VI).

Nowadays, they line up and actually campaign for the honor. And even shoot each other over it.

I got a response all typed out but decided it was a waste of time hitting the post button. You can't educate people like that, you can't even debate with them.

Very true.

Zimmerman may be a guilty as hell this time around or he may not but one thing is very clear, the race-baiters, anti-firearm loons and the bigots will continue to use Zimmerman as their poster boy to advance their agenda.

If God himself appeared to the world and declared Zimmerman's shooting of Martin to have been a righteous shoot, these haters still wouldn't change their mind or their methods because for them, it's not about facts...it's only and always about their agenda.

Well when Zimmerman has to answer to God for his actions; it won’t be a liars contest. So while I’m pretty sure the first part of that won’t happen; I’m absolutely sure God won’t be calling it a "righteous shoot".

Well of course...there are plenty of people who, even though they weren't there and even though there weren't the investigating officers or the chief of police or the DA (none of which wanted to indite and had to have shopped for replacements forced in by the state to bring charges) and even though there weren't on the jury and didn't hear all the facts at trial are absolutely convinced that Zimmerman is guilty as hell.   LOL

I don't know about the status of his eternal soul (which is all that really matters once we or he gets before God) nor do I know about the rest of his life but as far as the self-defense shooting of the thug Martin I'd say Zimmerman can stand before God with a clean conscious on that one.

I don’t, but what we think or what that jury decided won’t matter; his hands aren’t tied with beyond reasonable doubt.

I don't want to necessarily speculate on his guilt or innocence in regards to the Martin case, but after the negative press he has gotten over this incident and the problems with his ex, I am beginning to wonder if this guy is one of those crazy smart kinda people that knows how to manipulate a situation to his advantage, even when he is  the perp....

I think he’s dumber than a box of rocks. But when his wife made the domestic violence report; he was not arrested. I don’t know why; you or I would have been. Maybe he saw that as the cops being concerned with who is was, I don’t know.

The link below lightly addresses what I was trying to make a point on.  Basically that Zimmerman used the 911 tapes as a way to avoid trial testimony and use them as a way to cast reasonable doubt on the charges that could possibly be levied against him in those circumstances.  I am not saying that he is wrong in essence for using that to his advantage, if anything that makes him a hell of alot smarter than most people are thinking that he is.  The fact that he has had 3 serious encounters with law enforcement inside of a 2-3 year period IMHO casts suspicion on the content of his character.  And the fact that he has, so far, escaped being found guilty isn't, again IMHO, dumb luck.

Just speculating but maybe he wasn't arrested then because there wasn't any evidence to support her claim???

I don't know that state's specific laws about it (and I believe it does vary a great deal from state to state) but even in today's hypersensitivity to domestic violence there still has to be some evidence to support the claim before they haul someone off to jail doesn't there?

I don’t know what the policy is in Tennessee; our discretion was taken away on domestic violence, as I think it has been in most places.

But a Threat with a deadly weapon generally steps it up from domestic violence to aggravated assault. When you are in a home that one person has called the Police and accused another of threatening them with a gun; you don’t leave them both there. (At least I didn’t)

Probably not...of all the things Zimmerman appears to not be guilty of, the one thing he does seem to be guilty of is lousy choices in women.

In his case, might ought to stick with Memorex, and not live.

I hear they do great things with polymers nowadays.

It's just a matter of time fella's, before he "steps on it" big time. He is no dummy in the fact that every time someone has called 911 on him, he's called 911 to immediately cover his butt with his side of the story. That way he don't have to testify in his own defense. As far as his shoot with TM...just one thug killing a wanna be.

Every class I've ever had regarding what to do in a SD shooting is "Be the first to call 911 if you can to get your side of the story out there"..."make sure the police know that YOU are the victim". So is everyone who does that actually "guilty" but just "covering his butt".

A jury heard all the facts of the Zimmerman/Martin shooting and found him not guilty of charges that many attorneys (including the investigating officers, police chief and original DA) believed he should have never been charged with in the first place...don't you think maybe...just maybe...they got it right, Dave?

Yes, a jury heard it, and yes, they got the verdict right (based on the evidence presented). I agree with all you say Robert, but it doesn't (and never will) change my opinion about Zman. He's a thug!

Just a matter of time.....

Maybe Zman and a "certain Nashvillain" should start a gun carry course. That would be something eh?
