He didn't die, It was a hoax. I'll try to find the link

The hoax wasn't legit.

He really did pass away ~ roughly 3:30pm Pacific Time.  Its been confirmed via several actual new sources.

. He was a pretty bad actor but he seemed like a decent guy and I liked his movies.

That's about an appropriate epitaph.

Ya, he apparently did a lot of charity work and I imagine he's a guy I'd enjoy having a beer with. Sad to hear him go so young. I hope the impact took him, burning to death has to be one of the worst ways to go.

it was either him or a friend driving his Porsche GT ...

Its an awesome car ~ but as you can see, pretty much a death trap if wrapped around a tree or pole like what is being reported.

What stupid game were they playing?

obviously severely speeding, racing someone else, not sure but it will all come out soon enough.  Those GT's have a really good cockpit in them, and the only thing left on that car is a wheel.

I'll be surprised if they were doing 100mph or less at the time they crashed.

If I had a car with 600+ HP and a top speed of 200+, I couldn't promise mine wouldn't suffer a similar fate. I hope it was the crash that took them. R.I.P, fellas.

Sad. Joy riding in a car at a car show that they have never drove? Or did the driver just out drive his skill set trying to impress him? You can assume by looking at the car that they had no chance of making that 15mph corner at the speed they were running...

That is a shame. Horrible actor, great guy, loved his movies.

But to look at it one way, he went out doing what he loved. Can't ask for a lot more than that.

News is saying speed was a factor, and that the car was engulfed in flames. Bodies were burned beyond recognition.

Don't these celebrity deaths usually come in three's?
