Motorcycle guys: Floorboards with compartment for firearms

Are they water proof? The one thing I remember about riding street bikes is that the further I got away from home, the harder it would rain. Why not just carry it on you?

Wow.  That's a bad idea.

I have had floorboards almost drug off in curves, under water, fall off, all sorts of stupid stuff.  I am guessing that compared to billet, the hollow & hinged frame would be a lot more prone to vibrations on the tootsies, too.

I usually kept two gat.  One on me, and one in the tank bag.

I would not buy them for a place to keep a gun but if I needed a lock box to use when I go in to places I cant carry, this might work.

If it has floorboards, It's mechanized patio furniture, not a motorcycle.  :hat:

LOL...I imagine that's my son's exact thoughts when we ride...him on his FZ8 and me on my old man Road King ... I resemble that remark :pleased:

Mine is just a rolling barca-lounger, but a buddy of mine installed a hostess, mini-bar, and in-flight movies.  Every once in a while, he would invite me to pull along-side, but mostly I followed in coach.
