I wonder if I could get CMT to build a complete upper with my TGO upper receiver and BCG.

That would be cool!

are you concerned about building it yourself?  otherwise I would see not advantage to have them do it.

He gave me a pretty good price on a complete upper; probably less than I can build one for myself, and I also wouldn't have to buy the tools. I also thought it would be neat to have an entire matching rifle from a Tennessee company.

Parts are now available, but still not plentiful, and I don't have the patience to hunt them.

I dunno. Just a thought.

You mean a CMT upper. You said CMMG in the first post. Might as well go that way. The lower doesn't require much. in the way of special tools, especially with the CMT lower.

You are correct. Anyway, If I bought a complete upper from them, it wouldn't be a "TGO" upper that I already paid for.

I thought the uppers we got were just the normal uppers that they sell but we got a great price. What makes them TGO?

If you're buying an assembled upper, I bet they'll work it out. No reason they can't grab one of the TGO uppers before they ship if you have already paid for it.

Ohhh a CMT upper now THAT I would definitely call and ask them about. It would certainly be worthwhile if the price is good

+1. I had to call them super last minute to get my order in in the first place. They went out of their way to accommodate me and not only were they class acts about it, I never felt rushed through, in fact when I hung up I felt I had been treated like a repeat, valued customer.

Worse case they can't pull one for whatever reason. You could still get all their parts and have a TGOer help build it. It would still be Tn built from Tn parts.
