Remington 870 Or 887?

I've got the option to buy one or the other. I've got an 870 long barrel that I've had for years and it's been through hell and back without a hiccup. Now I'm getting the short barrel tactical version. I want to hear from people who have an 887 and their experience. Edited by Rowdy

I was contemplating the same thing shortly after the 887 came out. Decided the 887 wasn't worth the extra cost and won't ever have the upgrade accessories like the 870. It was the 870 for me and I never looked back.

My vote for the 870 also with the Savage Stevens model 350 a close second since it is a copy of the Model 37.

870,if you are getting a short barrel tactical version get the Police model and not the Express.
