I would like to know what the ones from Classic look like because I think I am going to order one at the price. I have wanted one for a while now but can not bring my self to pay the inflated prices.

They'll probably look like any other Mosin refurb, but I'll report back when I get mine...whenever they come in.

Dude, are you getting a bunch of different updates on when they will be there? They have sent me 6 different emails today saying that mine will be here today, no wait, tomorrow, no wait next Monday...wtf?!!?!?

I checked tracking this morning and it said early delivery today on ups site. Now it says tomorrow. Will let you know. I spent the extra money for hand picked. 20 bucks for 2 rifles.

Site description reports stock scratching from loosely packed bayonets.  Not an uncommon thing with the boxed Molot imports.  Good deal on refurbed 91/30's, not likely to be seen any cheaper in the future, as fewer shipments of these are arriving each year, and demand has increased steadily over the last 4 or 5 years.

I really like the M44 better but I don't know if I want to spend the extra 50 bucks. I don't really care about the scratches or anything like that on the stock I just want a shooter.

I don't know why they made the 91/30. The carbine is the thing to have.

M44's are great for being obnoxious, which I'm all about, but 91/30's are far superior if you want to actually do some marksmanship-like stuff.

My 91/30 I got from classic is a 1939 Tula, all matching. It's a boring old refurb. I'm happy.

Well, they lowered the price to 89.99 at classic arms so I went ahead and ordered mine with the hand select. I will let you guys know what I get next week.
