I saw this on Facebook and it rings awful true,

To My Liberal Friends--if I have any: Please accept with no obligation, implied or explicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2014 but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere . Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishes.

To My Conservative Friends: Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Sorry it's showing up in light gray but it's late and i'm far to lazy at this hour to type it all out so this light gray copy and paste will have to do,

Luke

Was in JCPenny's over the weekend and saw a holiday decoration. It went like this:

Merry Christmas

Happy Hanukkah

Happy Quanza

Feliz Navidad

I just felt that it was ironic that Christmas was on there twice.

Bonedaddy, are we friends?

Don't have a clue but I'll give anyone a shot at it within reason.

Woohoo! Another strang slanger! Table top version but who cares? Ever do any David Lindley style playin', Michael? When I was younger, I didn't much care for the pedal steel guitar but guys like Howe and Lindley got me to appreciatin' it a lot more.

He's a harp player too. I doubt that he can play 'em both at the same time, tho

Pissin' off liberals is one of my favorite pastimes.

I consider an extremely valid use of time. My goal on Facebook has been to do one of three things, 1- Make liberals uncomfortable enough that they unfriend me, 2- make them uncomfortable enough that they are scared to post any mindless liberal vomit for fear of being called out on it in front of the rest of the Facebook world or 3- beat them over the head with logic enough that they leave the dark side and join us. I don't usually bother with much outside of these parameters but from time to time I'll make an unrelated post.

Bonedaddy, yeah, I've done the Lindley type thing. Did one last month, IIRC. Good to meet ya! Always remember, "The tone of the bone is directly proportionate to the smack of the jack." - Dale Sellers

Logic doesn't work. It's why they're called Libtards

Yep. Lame 'lectronics are aggravatin', they are. My fave guitar, an old Ibanez Artcore, has done gone noisy on the pots on me. Maybe, one day, I'll get 'round to changin'm. Not as bothered with that as I used to be, since I don't play much, anymore. Would like to get it refretted with LP type frets, as well but that would be fairly costly. They're not that bad, now, just would like a slightly larger fret, is all.

Good job, I have a sleeping problem that prevents me from doing much sleeping before 3 or so but I had taken a sleep aid last night (which didn't help and only served to make me groggy this morning) so I didn't think i'd get it figured out without making it worse
