Well being an old fart. I'm not familiar with the song or whom ever does it...But these students at the Mainevlile music academy {where ever that is} did an awesome job.

Totally unfamiliar with the references, but the music was fantastic. The little girl was great. This is a cover?

Yes.

Thanks, TDR. Now I see, or rather hear.

After watching some of the vids, I have to say I won't be a fan of the vocals, but like a lot of the music itself.

Yes, further proof of being an old codger.

Try TDR's link in post #8. It's an "eye" opener. Edited by hipower

 Pretty "interesting" stuff huh.

Tool and other industrial metal acts are an acquired taste.

I am rather fond of them. James Maynard Keenan has quite the eclectic musical resume, but I have enjoyed most of his projects.

This is a pretty good cover, the kid on bass is tearing it up and just grooving right along. I would venture to say he has a bright future ahead of him. Although none are shabby.

I agree with you, Murgatroy. The kid is amazing.

I find stuff like this both inspiring and depressing. It's inspiring in that kids dig music like this. It's depressing in that I really wish I'd started playing guitar when I was a kid and actually had time to learn it.

I found the bass player and drummer quite impressive. The girl singing is really good but she needs to grow some angst... that angelic voice just doesn't quite fit.
