Mag fed pump gun

We put this together at the shop today. Kit is made by Adaptive Tactical, and includes the covnersion kit, and a 10 rd drum, with additional drums available seperate as well as 5 rd stick mags. This is a duracoated Mossberg 500 with the 10 rd drum kit. Gotta say I can see me building one of these for myself very soon.
Whoa. Sounds like the perfect home defense gun... how much would that run, Spots?
I dont know the kit price. The whole setup runs $750. Thats a Mossberg 500 with the internals smoothed up, duracoated and 2 10 rd drums, with the m4 style stock also. I really want one as a home defense and shtf gun. Neat conversion there Spots.

However my 590A1 already holds 8+1 in its tube, plus an extra +4 in reserve in a speed feed stock, although the magazine/drum fed idea is kind of cool I can't help but wonder about what that does to the weapons ergonomics, which is one of the reasons I've never liked the Sagia shotgun's either, they just don't "swing" on to the target like I want/expect them to.

Anyway what is the added weight of the conversion? How did it seem to handle? Any reliability problems?

Ergonomics, it hurts it BUT that ability to get another full mag with one hand motion is a bit enticing. Tis why I like that Saiga 12, that and it's on a almost 70 year old platform that is gas operated. But I can't complain about my 870, under $450 invested and it runs like a top.
