Just being nosy. BIL and I pulled into that first strip mall on Lee highway to stop at subway waiting to get my truck serviced and cops converged from 3 different directions. Cops got out running. Ran into the street stopping and checking cars and stopped one looked like they were trying to get away. Surrounded by cops at the moment. Whatever happened happened in Title Max next to Subway. BIL suggested we leave before bullets start flying or something.

Wow. 2 minutes earlier and we would have walked into whatever it was.

I say wow because whatever it is that happened these cops weren't playing. Cars stopped, the ones that jumped out and ran into the street had hands on hips. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2 Edited by TankerHC

Somebody probably wanted to pick up their kids from school or maybe even had an expired license plate on their car.

There is an APP for that :)

Yep, I used to carry a scanner in my kit but now i'f I'm around town I simply use an APP that works great, even allowed me to listen in to NJ pd during Sandy to help with relief efforts from the comfort of my couch.  The app is 5-0 Radio (for iOS)

I may need to get one, the other night they were all over gunbarrel, all but blocked the road.

If that is the subway by the tobacco mart, its a rough area.  the gas station there sells crack pipes, or did not long ago.

Don't remember if there was a tobacco mart. But right across the parking lot from the appliance store next to title Max and up the road from Toyota.

Oh ok not the one I was thinking.   There are like 10 subways in a 2 mile radius of the lee/shallowford intersection lol.

the crack pipe / nasty one is on shallowford but just barely off lee, near the hotels and interstate, in with another strip mall that includes both a beer and a tobacco shop + the gas station and some other stuff.   Its across from the wendys.   Everything in that little pocket is kinda seedy.
