Considering C&Rs down the road...

I am trading off my M1 Carbine ('43 receiver / '44 barrel) to my best bro.

 

Makes sense, he will get more use out of it than I and it will reside with "seasoned" company (a Garand, a 1911 and a 1917)

 

Here's the cool part, his son (my godson) is one. With proper care and maintenance, he could conceivably be shooting these relics when he is 80, which would make the M1C 150 years old...

 

In comparison for us in the here and now, 150 year old firearms are 1860s mfg...

Not if Obama has anything to say about it. That being said, I hope he is shooting it when he is 100.
