That's great. Now they can start a new series since he only dreamed it.

Ok. It was fun with Dallas. Then with Newhart. And really funny with Al Bundy. But with Breaking Bad??? Come on...couldn't come up with something better than this?

Agreed, funny but seemed forced.

I did like the description of Jesse though, "yeah science b words!", pretty accurate.

Actually not really forced, that's how his character is in Malcolm in the Middle, total wuss. In Breaking Bad he is not even recognizable as the same actor. Which shows to me he is a really good actor.

I agree with this. But I honestly think we have seen the greatest TV drama we will see in our lifetimes. It will be hard to beat it, I know people who dont even watch TV who heard about it, and began watching it, and were just like everyone else, jonesing for the next episode.

And almost every writer and every person I know who watched all agree, the Hank death episode is the greatest episode of any drama in TV history. Remember the day after, all the TV writers were saying the same thing, "Greatest episode of any TV series in TV History".

The writers of that show didnt hit a grand slam, or knock it out of the park, they knocked it into an another universe.

Not sure I totally agree with you Tanker.

But in any event, BB did garner a lot of attention, viewers, and awards.

Not downing the show at all, I do intend to watch it from the beginning this winter. Then I might go from calling it "one of" to "the" best.

I  think when Gus got it was the best. Especially when he straightened his tie right before he died. The old man did him in with help from WW.

I know the show well, it just seemed like it was a caricature of the character rather than him actually playing it. Given, the Hal character IS a bit cartoonish, still though it was more like watching Walt acting like a weenie than watching Hal again.

I don't know, a lot of people joked about just this very thing, it should have stayed a funny thought instead of a disappointing reality. IMO.

I wonder if that speaks more about the impact of Cranston's portrayal of Walter these last 6 years than of his work as Hal. Perhaps there isn't enough time past BB to see Cranston as anything else. The weakness of WW was very much like Hal (minus the cartoonishness) in the beginning, and in seeing the transformation that took place over the course of the show that makes it very difficult to see the Hal character as anything close to resembling genuine.
