Family friendly camping with firearms?

Hey guys, does anyone know anywhere I can take my kids camping and do some shooting with them while we're out there? I know state/federal parks are immediately scratched from the list, and assume my only choice will be to find someone with some land that will allow us to use. Thought it was worth asking anyway...

TIA,

My son was telling me about a place near Norris Lake that he went to last week. It is on TWRA land, they have campsites with fire rings, all lakeside camping, portapotties. Don't know if it is "officially" OK to shoot there, but he said they were doing it. He said people there were shooting and lighting fireworks, with the TWRA officer present.

I'm sorry, but I don't know where it is other than off the Jacksboro exit on I-75. My son couldn't give directions other than saying he just know how to get there. Maybe someone else here knows about it. If not, maybe I can get him to figure out the location using Google Maps.
