Only a few things I really want this year....

Eotech for the AR- The dog is buying that for me.

ESEE 5- Dog's buying that too, I'm pretty sure he already ordered it.

Really good bottle of Bourbon for Christmas Eve- Dog again. I'm sure he'll pick up at least a couple 5ths, that's how he rolls.

I want a new forge. I'm putting together a shopping list of the supplies I need so my family knows what to buy. There's a 100K BTU burner, some Inswool/Kaowool ceramic insulation, Satanite, ITC-100 refractory, and a few other things that I need to make it complete. It would be about a hundred bucks more expensive to buy a much smaller, ready-made one.

I just ordered a book, "Pet Loads: The Complete Volume" by Ken Waters for my wife and kids to surprise me with. We don't go real crazy with Christmas presents, and I already have most everything I could ever ask for.

i ask for nothing, the tradition of extorting gifts from family should end when one becomes self sufficient.

If someone wants to give a heartfelt gift that is fine.  But I'd never ask, and always encourage nothing be given to me.

Christmas is about Santa and little kids.

Gifts arent extorted in my family. We buy if we can afford it, and if we can't oh well. Theres nothing that says we have to buy anything. We started sending list to each other so that people actually got stuff they needed or wanted. Pretty sure we are one of the most self sufficent families on this board, so its definitely not about relying on someone else lol.

Gosh it don't work that way at my house. I end up buying for the Dog in this house and I really don't mind since she is my best friend and has been with me 16 years this month. I already know what she wants and that is a couple large bags Jacks Links beef jerky, Jacks Link Turkey Jerky, and a bag of Chicken breasts cooked in Crock pot for Christmas dinner............

I'm gonna take whatever gift Wyld2k has in our family Christmas dirty Santa game thing.

But I could use an apron to wear cutting up deer, a new coffee cup, a new dehydrator, a work shirt or 2

My apologies if I came off a little harsh.

I can honestly say, I can't think of anything I need (within reason).
I'm rebuilding an old M151A2 right now and I could sure use a plasma arc, but honestly I have more than I need. In fact, I could really stand to clear out some of this ćrap.
