Academy Sports is running their 12 & 20 GA. Winchester Super X Dove load for $3.99 per box when you buy a case while supplies last. I always try to stock up for the Sporting Clays and it's hard to beat $4 per box.

Sad thing is that Last January, they were running at $2.99 per box when you bought it by the case. I only bought 2 cases . I figured I'd get 4 cases this time.....

Academy also used to have Monarch 9mm for like $6.99 last year. Oh well.

Speaking of how high ammo is now, I was looking in my 1976 Shooters Bible and

the Rem 357-158 gr sjhp was 11.15, Rem 9mm-115 gr jhp was 10.55 for 50 per box.

Maybe thats why I reloaded then. Would have attached page but not allowed yet.

Two pallets at the front doors yesterday.

I stopped in on my way to work today. Those 2 pallets were almost gone, but the cashier were tax stamping a whole other pallet.

Picked up one case today, probably get 2 tomorrow. They have a 2 case limit.

Yes, those pallets have gone fast in the past sales. My business partner and I bought 4 cases each on Thursday and the cashier didn't batt an eye so I think the 2 case limit depends on the cashier.

I am still kicking my self for not gobbling up the $29 cases last Christmas. I should have got the truck and bought the whole pallet.

Yea, I remember a couple years ago they were $2.38 for the Federal Field & Range shotshells. I had over a dozen cases all together. I haven't bought any shotgun ammo since then, either. But unfortunately I'm running low, and I know I will have to buy more some day soon. Dang money. Stupid ammo prices.

the deal of 3.99 seems to be over. I was there last week and the price was back to 5.99 for super X ammo.

Yes, the Cool Springs store was out around the 8th I believe. The manager did tell me he thought they'e run it again in late October or Early November then again in January.
