Yes,  these were men from the greatest generation this country has ever seen. Not the everybody wins a trophy generation of today

God bless those men. I hope they got their just rewards here on earth. I'm sure heaven will have a special place of honor for people like them.

 

One of the four surviving members is from Nashville.

I proudly salute each of those courageous men.

 

Sadly we are not likely to see their kind again.

 

And we truly are watching history go away with the passing of each one.
