New Poly/brass concept AR lower

Not going to post the name (don't want to advertise for them) but its a TN company that are making these. Pretty neat stuff, a cross between polymer and metal. I am curious how the stress tests will go.

Seems cool to me. A lot of people hate on the polymer lowers claiming they are weak or not up to military style standards. I love mine, most likely will buy more (already have 3) but would consider one of these hybrids as well.

I was hoping for more of Steampunked look.  The brass inserts seems like a good idea, but why not something else like stainless steel/similar?

Neat! I was thinking about something similar the other day. More along the lines of weak points though, not the threads. Like a ring or two around the mag well and an internal strip up to the buffer. I pick those two areas because of the 3D printed lowers breaking at the buffer and a torture test on a poly lower failed the "run over with a truck" test. lol I can see that these inserts would help prevent cross threading though. Wonder if you could just get the inserts from a hardware store or something and carve the polys out yourself? Hmmm...
