What was the gun Jax's mom took out of the box? It almost looked liked a LCP with a chrome slide & a chrome ruger medallion on the grip. ? They only showed a brief glimpse of it.

It was a little bit bigger than an LCP. I was thinking it looked closer to a Kahr. But I have been wrong in the past.

Also, the shoot-out scene between the SOA and the Mayans was way to short.

I thought SOA had promise when I saw the first previews, but after watching the first episode, I just couldn't get into it. :)

The Shield, on the other hand, has been a staple of my TV-watching since the first season. I'm really gonna miss it. One of my favorite shows of all time.

Good show last night.

Two problems.

During the Scene when Opie starts to beat the Hell out of the other guy in the school gym, the scene cut off and went straight to a comercial. You could tell that it was a mistake.

Also when Clay punched the Masturbating guy in the van was the worst fake punch I have seen since the Old School Batman when the speech bubbles would appear and saw "POW".

Note to self, never opt to have a tattoo on my back removed by fire and liquor. OUCH!!! The knife probably would have been worse. Good show I thought. Relax all you haters, it's not real. It's just a TV show for entertainment only.

Speaking of Old Ladies, mine is addicted to this show. I'm loving it as well. Can't get enough. There's something about it and the chemistry of the characters that just really makes it fun to watch for me.

Last week when they took the Aks out of the septic truck and they were screaming and gagging and laughing just reminds me of a bunch of goofy teenagers and friends doing something dumb. Laughed my butt off. :dirty:

I gotta say, I'm addicted to this show. I hardly ever watch TV anymore, and I very rarely "follow" a show, but I can't wait till Wednesdays at 10 now...

great part is, If I do miss one ( South Park now comes on at the same time) they replay the episode again at 11...

Is it just me, or did anyone else notice last night that the lady Dr. disappeared from the back of Jack's motorcycle as it passed the construction site? Also, does anyone else think Clay is Jack's dad?

I think John was really Jax's dad, but Gemma wants Jax to be like Clay, whom she obviously loved more than John. Jax doesn't seem to want to follow Clay though. I read somewhere awhile back that this was supposed to be like a modern Hamlet type show.

That is actually referring to a song that played in the background of the trailer for the show, not the song that plays at the beginning of each episode if what I read is correct.
