I bet these are the returns from couples months back when they sold a bunch of them.

Update:

a rep from AIM said these are not the returns,  I have always thought of AIM as a stand up company to deal with.

Are these strictly for collecting or do people still shoot them? The .303brit threw me...I've never seen it for sale anywhere but I suppose I've never looked for it, either.

I had one of those back in the early 60's I ordered out of the Sears Roebuck catalog. About all I remember is how hard it kicked. The 303 is still shot a lot these days.

The one you ordered from Sears was likely a converted No. 4 MK I rifle. These converted rifles were marketed by several companies as a "Jungle Carbine" but were not original No. 5 MK I rifles. I doubt that any original No. 5 MK I rifles were ever sold by Sears, although the converted rifles looked very similar to the real thing.
