HCP Renewal 12 Days

Recommended Posts

I have to renew mine in May of next year, I know i still have plenty of time, but when should I go renew? I was thinking around the first week in April? Also, do you just go to the dmv to renew?

We didn't expire until Feb of next year.  We got the renewal in the mail and sent it off the next day.  You have to expire in 3 months to renew.

They mail you before you expire ?

They mailed me my renewal and I mailed it off and it still took over a month and a half. I wasn't impressed with their service.

Can you still go and renew early even if you haven't received a notice (yet)?

Sent mine off 2 days ago, we'll see, I'm in good shape, doesn't expire until January.  I wish they would get the HCP synchd up with the DL to where it expires every 5 years and I could renew both at once.  I guess that would be asking too much of the state though.

Mine came yesterday so 16 days, could have been in the mailbox for a couple of days as well.  Impressive turn around time for the government.

Jeesh...Y'all are lucky. After the previous thread 'bout turnarounds, I mailed my form off at the first of Sept., since mine expires in Jan. Still haven't got it. Got the letter and I did recently call and they said it should be here in 7-14 bizniz daze. That was a week, ago. Asked for a couple more forms for dups, too, so I'll have one for each ride.

I did send a cashiers check as opposed to a personal check, it is my understanding that the state holds personal checks.  2+ months seens a little ridiculous though.
