I'm thinkin' that was the whole point of the video. All the setup material was weak

I got that cowardice or tactical fail on the bridge was the likely idea, but the whole focus of the satire about the round made no sense.

I think it's mostly geared towards the fact that Mr. Yeager claims that rounds such as .357 Sig, and .40 S&W are "high pressure" rounds that will "wear out your gun". He likes to throw the "terminal ballistics" thing out there frequently making little-to-no sense. I agree with some things that James Yeager says, and I appreciate the stand he takes for the second amendment. However, I believe his in-your-face, chest bumping, blunt way of expressing it puts him across as an arrogant asshole without the background to back it up. Correct me if I have his official titles wrong, but He was the chief of police in Big Sandy Tennessee, A considerably small city with a low population. There was conflict between himself, and the mayor of the city concerning the fact that the mayor saw no use for a city SWAT team, which eventually led to the demise of his employment.

He got a job with a "high-risk" (a term he uses frequently) civilian contracting company providing protective services to Iraqi diplomats. He comes back as a tactical god, and starts his company Tactical Response. He has provided tactical training to thousands of people from around the United States.

I have the privilege of working with, and being in the presence of professionals employed by various government entities, being them local, state, or federal.
Individuals who make Mr. yeager's beefed up wrap sheet, that you can find plastered on his website, look like a 6-year-old's Christmas list. Who, When Mr. Yeager is brought up, have some less-than-stellar things to say about him.

Men in these particular professions are taught something called "quiet professionalism", something Mr. Yeager is astoundingly lacking in.

Things like this, and many other things shown in his character, speak volumes on his lack of training. Any of you who believe Mr. Yeager is a tactical gift from the gods, and craps linked 7.62, should try turning your eyes to the likes of other tactical trainers such as Travis Haley, who as a trained professional, took what he had learned through his career in the Marine Special Operations Command and many more years of training, and offered it to the masses. You don't see him boastfully claiming superiority over all of the other tactical trainers, or telling his viewers that they aren't entitled to their own opinion.

I don't know about you, but I would prefer to get my training from a Professional who is not on a High-horse, and sets the example with their leadership and knowledge, which has been instilled in them by the best fighting forces this world has to offer.

Guns 31 has two posts comprised of some serious Yeager bashing. Like him or not, Yeager does have a lot of satisfied customers. Some long standing members here have trained with him, and were happy with the money they spent. I don't recall any of them putting him above Travis. They were just satisfied with their "purchase".

Now, James is a loud boy, and some folks are just not gonna like him. I haven't even tried to make sense of that situation in Iraq. I'm not the best one to judge that anyway.

But... to join TGO with a bashing agenda may not be something that Loud James would do.

So, welcome to TGO, Guns 31. You bringing anything to this party besides a hardon for Yeager? :)
