I like the Beretta PX4 G. Accurate. Dependable. Good quality for the money.

Sigs are pretty great though I have never tried that series....I would go used and buy something else though for the prices you have listed.

Go with the beretta. But go with the compact px4... 10+1. If you can find a 9000s even better. The 9000 was a better gun than the px4, a little top heavy, but out shoots the px4. I see you want a 40, I have a 9000 40m and 9mm. The nine is much more pleasing to shoot. A 40 is the same as shooting a 45; more muzzle less weight. Just decide what you want it for.

Go to a GUN RANG that rents out diffrent hand guns and go from there.
