I am trying to decide on one of these... Help me pick, I don't know much about any of them. Thanks

FN Herstal FNP40 14 round- $487

Sig 2022 w/night sights 12 round- $469

Beretta px4 storm .40 15 round- $518

Ruger p94 .40 10 round- $399

Taurus 24/7 .40 15 round- $344

I am looking for semi compact enough to CC, reliability (for duration and not ammo picky), good customer service/warranty, and they all have a manual safety which I want.

Nothing. Just got the itch :)

Looking for one more good piece. Looking at that or a couple of lower priced pieces. I love the look of the XD's, but the no manual safety is what I dont like. Has anyone held a px4 storm? Can you compare it in size to any other handguns?

If you want a .45, they make an XD45 that has a manual safety.

I know it's not a .40, but they do have an XD45 with an optional manual safety.

SWEET! Just found one for $475. In the XD kit it comes with, how can the XD holster be worn? waist band, belt, etc;?

It's worn on the belt. It's pretty cheap but it serves it's purpose.

I have the FNP40 and I love it. By far the BEST trigger of any polymer framed pistol I have shot. Customer service is awesome!

I was looking for a place to buy a hat with the FN logo, contacted thier marketing department and they got back in touch with me the next day. Asked for my home address and sent me a nice embroidered hat, 3 tee shirts and a handfull of hat pins. FREE!

The Ruger is going to be pretty big to carry. The XD is good if you can live with a striker fired weapon. Don't buy it just for the holster though, it's crap. (Settle down Glock guys, I ain't hate'n, just not my bag)

If you can find an FN to shoot, you owe it to yourself to try it. Very sweet shooter and very accurate. It's my daily carry. If you will be near Memfrica any time soon, PM me, I'll be happy to let you shoot mine.

I will say the same as some on here. If you are looking for an easily conceaied weapon stay away from the ruger p series. That is not a knock on the gun (I have one and love it) its just BIG and hard to carry hidden
